Kill Block

Kill Block is the live-fire facility map used for Gunfight in the Modern Warfare 4 beta. Weekend One ran 10v10 Gunfight here; Infinity Ward later pulled that playlist and kept 3v3 Gunfight on the same arena through the rest of Early Access, then brought the larger mode back for Open Beta.

Overview

Kill Block is the live-fire facility map used for Gunfight in the Modern Warfare 4 beta. Weekend One ran 10v10 Gunfight here; Infinity Ward later pulled that playlist and kept 3v3 Gunfight on the same arena through the rest of Early Access, then brought the larger mode back for Open Beta.

The layout is compact and vertical: sightlines are short, spawn pressure is high, and a single lost gunfight often dumps you into another one before you can reset. SMGs, the Rezi 12, and handling-focused ARs such as the M4 after the August 28 TTK pass are the sensible defaults. Snipers and slow battle rifles are a liability unless you specifically hold a rare long peek.

Play the map as a spawn-trap puzzle, not a lane hold. Clear one room, check the next doorway, and do not reload in the open after a multi-kill. Ninja helps you take stairs without announcing the rotate. Quick Fix pays off if you chain kills; Battle Hardened matters because stun and flash spam is constant in this size of arena.

If you are learning Kill Block, spend one playlist session watching where the enemy appears after you die rather than chasing every footstep. The players who climb the Gunfight board here are the ones who treat spawns as information, not as a respawn lottery.
